GRANTS, ELIGIBILITY, AND HOW TO APPLY

THE TYPES OF  SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS

Please review the following information on this page before downloading any application form.

  1. College Application for High School Graduates — Renewable grants to pursue a college education. Grants include college tuition and fees plus economy-living expenses in the region of the educational institution. Application link below.

    The approved colleges include UP Baguio, St. Louis University, Benguet State University, University of Baguio and University of the Cordilleras.   

  2. Continue College Education Application — Renewable grants, just for students already in college, to complete their work to graduation. Should have a “B” GPA or better at time of application.

  3. Grant for a high school graduate applicant, judged promising but deficient in academic background for college, may be offered to attend St. Mary’s High School for one year for extra college preparation in English, math, science and IT. Tuition and fees paid. Eligible for a college scholarship if a “B” GPA achieved by time of application.

RENEWAL OF ANY GRANT requires a full course load, a “B” GPA , continued good character and perseverance in studies.

ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY

  • Fedilisan orTanulong ancestry.

  • “B” GPA for High School grades 11 and 12 at time of application.

  • Passing score on National College Entrance Exam and specific exam for applicant’s choice of college.

  • Demonstrated good character.

  • SUBMIT COMPLETED APPLICATION AND REQUIRED DOCUMENTS by date and address to be announced

UPDATE

Applications will be accepted for the SECOND semester only of 2020-2021 for students already in college. An interested student applicant should write to Dr. Albert Bacdayan, Director, bacdayan.ac@gmail.com, to introduce oneself and explain why interested.

No high school graduate applications were called for in SY 2020-2021 due to the uncertainties raised by the pandemic, among other factors.

It is planned that all types of grants will resume for SY 2021-2022.
