GRANTS, ELIGIBILITY, AND HOW TO APPLY
THE TYPES OF SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS
There are two different application forms to choose between: (Download Application Forms after reviewing all of the following information…)
College Application for High School Graduates — Renewable grants to enable them to pursue a college education. Grants include college tuition and fees plus economy-living expenses in the region of the educational institution.
Application to Continue College Education — Renewable grants for a students already in college, to enable them to complete their work to graduate. Should have a “B” GPA or better at point of making the application.

The Scholarship Program may also offer a grant to a student who applied for a college scholarship but was judged to be deficient in academic background but a promising student nonetheless. This type of grant would allow the student the opportunity to attend St. Mary’s High School for one year for extra college preparation in English, math, science and information technology. This grant covers tuition and fees only. Students, with at least a “B” GPA at the end of the year, would be eligible to apply again for a grant to attend college.
CONTINUATION OR RENEWAL OF ANY GRANT requires that a student maintain a full course load; to have at least a “B” GPA in core courses of science, math, and English; and continued demonstration of good character and perseverance in their studies.
The approved colleges for 2019 entrance include UP Baguio, St. Louis University, Benguet State University, University of Baguio and University of the Cordilleras.

ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY requires …
Fedilisan or Tanulong ancestry.
at least a “B” GPA for High School grades 11 and 12 at the time of application.
a passing score on the National College Entrance Exam and for the specific exam for the applicant’s choice of college.
demonstrated good character.

WHEN YOU HAVE COMPLETED FILLING IT OUT, IT MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS by postal mail or by hand-carry to Alma Bagano at her address before MAY 15, 2019. Notification of awards will be made July 1, 2019.
