GRANTS, ELIGIBILITY, AND HOW TO APPLY

THE TYPES OF  SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS

  1. College Application for High School Graduates — Renewable grants to enable them to pursue a college education. Grants include college tuition and fees plus economy-living expenses in the region of the educational institution. This application form is available by downloading the link below.

    The approved colleges for 2019 entrance include UP Baguio, St. Louis University, Benguet State University, University of Baguio and University of the Cordilleras.   

  2. Application to Continue College Education — Renewable grants for a students already in college, to enable them to complete their work to graduate. Should have a “B” GPA or better at point of making the application. This application form is available only from the Scholarship Field Coordinator Alma B. Bagano, Dagdag, Sagada, Mountain Province 2619, Philippines dakodee@yahoo.com

3. The Scholarship Program may offer a grant to a high school graduate who previously applied for a college scholarship but was judged to be deficient in academic background but a promising student nonetheless. This type of grant would allow the student the opportunity to attend St. Mary’s High School for one year for extra college preparation in English, math, science and information technology. This grant covers tuition and fees only. (If the student achieves at least a “B” GPA at the end of the year, s/he would be eligible to apply again for a scholarship grant to attend college.)

CONTINUATION OR RENEWAL OF ANY GRANT requires that a student maintain a full course load; to have at least a “B” GPA in core courses of science, math, and English; and continued demonstration of good character and perseverance in their studies.

ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY requires …

  • Fedilisan or Tanulong ancestry.

  • at least a “B” GPA for High School grades 11 and 12 at the time of application.

  • a passing score on the National College Entrance Exam and for the specific exam for the applicant’s choice of college.

  • demonstrated good character.

SUBMITTING YOUR COMPLETED APPLICATION AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS must be BY POSTAL MAIL OR HAND-CARRY to
